STER-KINEKOR RE-OPEN REVAMPED CINEMA AT SANDTON CITY MALL

The Ster-Kinekor Sandton City Mall cinema has undergone renovations . . .  and it has opened with a bang . . . and customers won’t stop smiling. Hubby and I are so impressed with the fact that there is now a cinema that is totally focused on kids. A cinema where our son can comfortably be the child that he is without being judged for noise levels or being bored during the show. Our son loved that he could walkabout when he was bored, or slide down the in-cinema-slide, YES! YOU READ RIGHT … and sit on the super comfy beanbag-seating. Don’t worry there are “Parent” seats too if bean bags aren’t your thing mom and dad 🙂

Sandton City Mall boasts the second Kids’ cinema in the country since the launch of the first kids’ cinema in June 2017 at the East Rand Mall, additional luxurious Cine Prestige 3D cinemas with their own VIP Lounge area and exclusive catering offers.

WHAT’S NEW

The new layout of the cinema has an express counter to the left and 15 new self-service terminals, where you can book tickets and catering combos.

Customers can select their catering options, pre-order and pay for these at the terminal, and then simply collect their order at the catering counter.

The result is a streamlined cinema experience for customers, and reduced queue times, which are proving to be a great success at the various sites where this innovative technology is available.
