These are super easy and, oh so delicious too
Warm the milk and melt the butter
Combine the warm milk, melted butter, salt, sugar and yeast in a bowl and whisk it all together then let it sit for 5 min. You should see bubbles forming on top after 5 min
Pour the yeast mix into a large bowl, and slowly add the cake flour, small portions at a time, until the dough is not sticky. About 4 cups.
Knead by hand for 10-12 minutes or with an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Place the smooth dough into an oiled bowl. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it sit in a warm place to rise for an hour. I placed the bowl into the OFF Microwave.
After the hour the dough should have risen. Cut the dough into 24 equal pieces. Shape each individual piece into round shapes and place them into a oiled baking tray next to each other.
Cover with kitchen towel and allow them to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. They should look puffed up. I placed it into an OFF oven for this period, but you can place it where it suits you as long as it's warm.
Set the oven heat to 180°C, when ready bake the dough for 20 minutes or until golden brown
Melt the 2 Tbsp of butter or margarine in the Microwave for 30 seconds
Add Honey and mix it well together (optional)
As soon as the golden brown soft rolls are out the oven paste the honey butter over each roll while still hot
Set aside to cool before serving (be warned you WILL be tempted to indulge ...)
