Ingredients
- Pinch of Salt
- 4 Eggs
- 220g Sugar
- 200g Flour
- 10g Baking Powder
- 150ml Warm Milk
- 80g Melted Butter
- Icing Sugar as needed
Instructions
- Heat oven to 180°C
- Beat together the Eggs, Salt, Sugar
- Gradually add the Flour to the mix
- Add the Baking Powder to the mixture
- Warm the Milk
- In a separate bowl mix the Milk and Butter
- Add 2 Spoons of the cake batter to the Milk and Butter mixture and mix well
- Add it to the rest of the cake batter
- Pour into a floured cake tin
- Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked (oven dependent)
Notes
- Really enjoyed making this cake. Not expensive to make either and tastes really divine. I mean, if our super fussy son who by the way does not approve of too much sugar loved it, it says a lot ... right?
