NOLA MAYONNAISE CHOCOLATE CAKE
Super Easy! Super Delicious!
Ingredients
- 335 g Cake Flour 630ml
- 40 g Cocoa Powder 110ml
- 320 g Castor Sugar 380ml
- 5 ml Salt
- 8 ml Bicarbonate of Soda
- 300 ml Nola Original Mayonnaise
- 400 ml Water
- 5 ml Vanilla Essence
Chocolate Ganache
- 250 ml Cream I used double cream
- 200 g Dark Chocolate Chopped, chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180C and line a 23cm round baking tin with wax paper

Sift together the dry ingredients Flour, Cocoa Powder, Castor Sugar, Salt, Bicarbonate of Soda. Give it a good mix to combine.

In another bowl, stir together the Nola Original Mayonnaise, Water and Vanilla Essence.

Add the liquid mix to the dry ingredients and stir until combined well.

Pour into the prepared baking tin.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean.

Cover in tinfoil and leave to cool in the tin (overnight in the fridge is ideal)
Ganache

Bring the cream to the boil and add the chopped chocolate

Stir until smooth and leave to cool

Pour over the cake, it's easier to do this by placing the cake on a wire rack so the excess can drip off.

Sprinkle with the chocolate shavings
