EASY & QUICK HONEY CAKE

Honey Cake

Ingredients

Cake Batter

  • 1 Cup Cake Flour
  • ½ Cup Castor Sugar
  • 20 ml Baking Powder
  • 1 ml Salt
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 50 ml Butter or Margarine
  • 1 Egg

Honey Butter

  • 50 ml Honey
  • 25 ml Butter or Margarine

Instructions

Cake Batter

  1. Set oven to 180°C

  2. Grease the tart dish using Cake Spray or Butter or Margarine

  3. Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt into a bowl

  4. Pour milk into a microwave bowl, add 50ml butter or margarine, and place into the microwave for 30-40 seconds. Stir and set aside

  5. Beat egg in a small bowl, and add it to the milk and butter mixture. Stir well.

  6. Add the milk mixture to the flour and stir well until the mixture is smooth

  7. Pour the smooth mixture into the greased tart dish

  8. Put it into the oven to bake for 15 min

Honey Butter

  1. Add butter to a bowl

  2. Add honey to the butter/margarine

  3. Place bowl into the microwave for 30-40 secs

Assemble

  1. Once the cake has baked pour the honey butter over the cake

  2. Make sure to spread the butter across the whole cake

  3. Bom Apetite!
