Ingredients
  1. 150g Margarine
  2. 150g Sugar
  3. 1 Whole orange
  4. 3 Eggs
  5. 1 tsp Baking powder
  6. 150g Cake Flour
Instructions
  1. Beat the margarine and sugar until creamy. While the margarine and sugar beat grate the skin of orange into a bowl, and squeeze the juice of the orange into a separate bowl
  2. Add the grated skin to the creamy batter
  3. Add the juice of the orange to the batter - if the orange is large only use half the juice
  4. Add the eggs one at a time mixing the egg with the batter before adding the next one
  5. Swift the flour and the baking powder into the batter and gently mix
  6. Pour the batter into a prepped baking tin
  7. Place into a 180ºC oven for about 30-40 minutes / or until cooked through
  8. Take cake out of the oven and cake tin, allow it to cool
