150g Margarine 150g Sugar 1 Whole orange 3 Eggs 1 tsp Baking powder 150g Cake Flour
Beat the margarine and sugar until creamy. While the margarine and sugar beat grate the skin of orange into a bowl, and squeeze the juice of the orange into a separate bowl Add the grated skin to the creamy batter Add the juice of the orange to the batter - if the orange is large only use half the juice Add the eggs one at a time mixing the egg with the batter before adding the next one Swift the flour and the baking powder into the batter and gently mix Pour the batter into a prepped baking tin Place into a 180ºC oven for about 30-40 minutes / or until cooked through Take cake out of the oven and cake tin, allow it to cool
